In July 2026, the University Council reinforced this with a new Ethics Code Regulation. It requires executives to manage people fairly, forbids unfair treatment by any staff member, and sets up an Ethics Protection Committee that investigates complaints and reports to the Council each year.<\/p>\n<p>These core labour standards reach the people who work alongside SPU staff every day. During the 2025\u201326 academic year, contractors upgraded the lifts, serviced rooftop ventilation and electrical systems, and renovated the main canteen. Housekeeping teams kept the campus clean, and external food vendors served students under university rules on hygiene training and regular health checks. Anyone affected, including external individuals and organisations, can raise concerns through SPU&#8217;s complaints system and the President&#8217;s Direct Line. A Labour Protection Committee with external experts oversees employment conditions under Thailand&#8217;s labour law. The Sustainable Resource Procurement Policy requires fair and ethical sourcing from suppliers.<\/p>\n<blockquote style=\"border-left: 6px solid #29ABE2; border-image: linear-gradient(to bottom,
