Under its Personnel Administration Regulation of 2007, Sripatum University (SPU) sets and reviews pay for every staff group. In July 2025, as living costs in Bangkok climbed, the university revisited its starting pay. SPU Announcement No. 069\/2568 sets new starting salaries for university staff. The President signed it on 23 July 2025, and it applies from 1 July 2025. The new rates took effect on the same day as Bangkok&#8217;s new statutory minimum wage, so SPU pay stays above the legal floor even as that floor rises. Pay is backed by welfare that raises real income:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Provident fund.<\/strong> Staff save for the long term through the university&#8217;s provident fund, managed with SCB, and can switch investment plans online.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Housing loans.<\/strong> On 30 September 2025, SPU signed an MOU with Krungthai Bank giving staff access to housing and home-related loans on special terms.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Health care on campus.<\/strong> Physiotherapists from D Care Clinic serve staff in the campus clinic on weekdays. On-campus dental days let staff use their social-security dental benefit without paying upfront.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Welfare schemes.<\/strong> On 24 April 2026, the Office of Human Resources and the Teachers&#8217; Welfare Promotion Commission (OTEP) opened an on-campus service where staff could join the Chor.Por.Kor. and Chor.Por.Sor. welfare schemes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<blockquote style=\"border-left: 6px solid #29ABE2; border-image: linear-gradient(to bottom, #29ABE2, #E6007E) 1; padding: 8px 0 8px 56px; font-size: 28px; line-height: 1.4; margin: 28px 0;\"><p>Pay must be enough for today&#8217;s higher cost of living.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Together, these steps support secure livelihoods and staff well-being, in line with SPU&#8217;s Alpha Ready Roadmap and its people-first approach. SPU will keep reviewing pay against living costs so that every role at the university remains decent work.<\/p>\n<p><strong>At SPU, a living wage is a standing commitment.
