Designing for the Future: Digital Media Students from Sripatum University Showcase Professional Creativity, Advancing to the Final 12 Teams in the National Design Competition and Preparing for Intensive Training on February 21-22, 2026, at Ratchadamnoen Contemporary Art Center<\/p>\n

The Audition round of the 11th Young Designer Development Project, widely known as “Graphic Elephant Clash Year 11,” has successfully concluded after evaluating innovative design proposals from 88 university student teams across Thailand.<\/p>\n

Students from the School of Digital Media at Sripatum University demonstrated exceptional creative vision, securing two of the twelve finalist spots through “Team Sathu 99” and “Team Draft Last.” The judging panel comprised distinguished experts from national institutions, including Mr. Weerapat Sutherangkool, a faculty member from SPU’s Graphic Design Department.<\/p>\n

This national platform bridges classroom education with practical industry experience, demonstrating institutional commitment to SDG 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth under sub-goal SDG 8.4 Proportion of students taking work placements and sub of sub-goal SDG 8.4.1 Proportion of students with work placements. The upcoming training phase further advances SDG 4 Quality Education through sub-goal SDG 4.3 Lifelong learning measures and sub of sub-goal SDG 4.3.3 Vocational training events (lifelong learning), equipping students with professional tools for long-term career readiness.<\/p>\n

Furthermore, this initiative exemplifies multi-sector collaboration supporting SDG 17 Partnerships for the Goals under sub-goal SDG 17.2 Relationships to support the goals and sub of sub-goal SDG 17.2.1 Relationships with regional NGOs and government for SDG policy. By partnering with the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture and partner universities, the project promotes cultural preservation and creative development, directly fostering SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities through sub-goal SDG 11.2 Support of arts and heritage and sub of sub-goal SDG 11.2.5 Arts and heritage contribution to drive the national creative economy.<\/p>\n

The two SPU student teams, along with ten finalist teams from other universities, will participate in an intensive professional creative workshop on February 21-22, 2026, at the Ratchadamnoen Contemporary Art Center.<\/p>\n
