Sripatum University (SPU) continues to drive sustainable community development by serving as a mentor institution under the Educational and Local Development Enhancement Program<\/strong>, now in its ninth year in collaboration with the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) and the Central Thailand Higher Education Development Network.<\/p>\n

On 18 September 2024<\/strong>, SPU faculty mentors from the School of Entrepreneurship, School of Digital Media, School of Information Technology, School of Business Administration, and College of Tourism and Hospitality<\/strong> joined hands with Bang Bua School (Pheng Tangtrongchit Witthayakarn)<\/strong> in Bangkok to deliver the project \u201cYouth Knowledge and Digital Tools for Business Development.\u201d<\/strong> The training program provided students with hands-on learning experiences in digital technology, entrepreneurship, and business innovation, while also offering guidance and consultation to schoolteachers for long-term educational development.<\/p>\n

This initiative strongly aligns with SDG 4.3 (Lifelong-Learning Initiatives)<\/strong> by creating inclusive opportunities for students, SDG 9.1 (Research and Innovation on Industry and Infrastructure)<\/strong> through fostering digital entrepreneurship, and SDG 11.4.7 (Urban Planning Collaboration with Local Authorities)<\/strong> by strengthening local educational ecosystems. Furthermore, it advances SDG 17.2 (Cross-Sectoral Partnerships for the SDGs)<\/strong>, exemplifying collaboration between higher education, government, and community institutions to prepare Thai youth for the future digital economy.<\/p>\n
