As of now, SPU has already achieved a reduction of <strong data-start=\"494\" data-end=\"515\">120 tons per year<\/strong>, highlighting its commitment to climate responsibility under SDG 13: Climate Action.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"604\" data-end=\"1100\">Key initiatives include the <strong data-start=\"632\" data-end=\"674\">solar roof installation at Building 11<\/strong>, reducing emissions by about <strong data-start=\"704\" data-end=\"724\">50 tons annually<\/strong>; <strong data-start=\"726\" data-end=\"754\">campus-wide LED lighting<\/strong>, which saves energy and cuts <strong data-start=\"784\" data-end=\"808\">30 tons CO\u2082 per year<\/strong>; and <strong data-start=\"814\" data-end=\"846\">sustainable waste management<\/strong>, promoting recycling and lowering emissions by <strong data-start=\"894\" data-end=\"914\">20 tons per year<\/strong>. In addition, SPU has invested in expanding <strong data-start=\"959\" data-end=\"975\">green spaces<\/strong>, planting trees that absorb carbon and reduce environmental heat, contributing another <strong data-start=\"1063\" data-end=\"1097\">20 tons in reductions annually<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1102\" data-end=\"1419\">These integrated actions demonstrate how SPU combines technology, infrastructure, and community-based solutions to accelerate carbon reduction. The university\u2019s forward plan includes <strong data-start=\"1285\" data-end=\"1360\">expanding renewable energy, recycling, and resource efficiency programs<\/strong>, ensuring that it reaches
