Sripatum University extends its heartfelt congratulations to <\/span>Mr. Athithep Rongsawat<\/b> and <\/span>Ms. Pannaphat Kairujaralak<\/b>, students from the <\/span>Graphic Design Program, Faculty of Digital Media<\/b> (Team <\/span>Dharatiwa<\/b>), for securing the <\/span>First Runner-Up Award<\/b> along with a cash prize of <\/span>50,000 THB<\/b> at the <\/span>\u201cChon Chang Graphic Year 10\u201d<\/b> competition. The event took place at <\/span>Bawon Nakorn Building, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province<\/b>, on <\/span>March 16, 2025<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

This competition aimed to promote <\/span>Area Identity Design<\/b> for five communities within <\/span>Nakhon Si Thammarat\u2019s urban district<\/b>, namely: <\/span>Smith-Suthi Alley Community, Railway Station Community, Cinema District Community, Wat Wang Tawantok Community, and Wat Burana Ram Community<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The award-winning project, <\/span>\u201cBanterng Roeng Na Khon\u201d<\/b>, by <\/span>Team Dharatiwa<\/b>, was designed to <\/span>revitalize the cultural identity<\/b> of the <\/span>cinema district<\/b>\u2014specifically, the historic <\/span>Bawon Building<\/b> [formerly known as <\/span>Inthra Cinema (Surachai Rama)<\/b>]\u2014and reestablish it as the heart of entertainment in <\/span>Tha Wang district, Nakhon Si Thammarat<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n

To develop their concept, the students conducted on-site research<\/b><\/span>, gathering insights into local traditions, arts, and cultural heritage<\/b><\/span>. Their findings were then translated into graphic design works<\/b><\/span> that enhance the city\u2019s visual identity, aligning with the \u201cCreative City\u201d<\/b><\/span> initiative. The project exemplifies the practical application of graphic design knowledge<\/b><\/span>, contributing to both academic excellence and community development<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n
