Dr. Vorasuang Duangchinda<\/strong> from Sripatum University<\/strong> plays a pivotal role in advancing ASEAN\u2019s digitalisation and sustainable development policies as a Special Advisor to the AUN Executive Director. Through active participation in the AUN-ICT Workshop held in Bangkok on November 7-8, 2023, Dr. Vorasuang collaborated with ASEAN university leaders to establish unified ICT standards that align with SDGs 4, 9, and 17. This initiative supports a resilient regional framework to enhance digital education quality, foster sustainable infrastructure, and strengthen multilateral partnerships across ASEAN.<\/p>\n

The AUN-ICT Workshop, co-hosted by the ASEAN University Network (AUN) and Prince of Songkla University, brought together 66 participants from 25 universities across ASEAN. These attendees, including policymakers, ICT experts, and academic representatives, worked together to develop a standardised ICT quality framework tailored to ASEAN\u2019s unique higher education landscape. Representing Sripatum University, Dr. Vorasuang actively contributed as a panelist, sharing insights on the necessity of adaptable ICT policies that support SDG-aligned education and infrastructure goals across the region.<\/p>\n

Dr. Vorasuang \u2019s involvement underscores Sripatum University\u2019s commitment to SDG 17.2.1 by facilitating cooperation among ASEAN countries to advance shared ICT standards. The AUN-ICT model, developed in collaboration with regional NGOs, aims to improve digital education quality (SDG 4) and promote sustainable infrastructure (SDG 9).
