Sripatum University\u2019s<\/strong> “C-Ed Grooming” initiative directly supports SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by equipping students with skills essential for employment. Through interactive workshops on resume building, interview techniques, and professional grooming, 427 students gained practical tools for entering the workforce. This initiative not only enhances employability but also strengthens student readiness for a successful career, in alignment with SDG 8.6, which seeks to reduce the proportion of youth not in employment, education, or training.<\/p>\n

On May 8, 2024, SPU\u2019s Cooperative Education Grooming project conducted an online training in collaboration with Super Resume, a leader in digital resume solutions and career services. The program covered critical areas of job readiness, including creating compelling resumes, understanding HR selection criteria, and appropriate interview attire. With an attendance goal of 300 students, the initiative exceeded expectations as 427 students attended, 92.5% of whom reported finding the training highly beneficial. This impactful initiative aligns with SDG 8 by fostering employment skills that contribute to economic participation and social inclusion. Specifically, the project addresses SDG 8.5, aiming for full and productive employment and decent work for youth by equipping them with key professional competencies.<\/p>\n

Through the “C-Ed Grooming” project, SPU demonstrates its commitment to SDG 8 by actively preparing students for productive employment and career success. The success of this initiative underlines SPU\u2019s role in promoting decent work and economic growth, bridging the gap between education and employment, and empowering students to contribute positively to the economy.<\/p>\n
