It all started with just having fun and experimenting<\/b><\/span>, making memes of friends for laughs. Over time, I realized I really enjoyed it, so I began exploring different techniques and styles<\/b><\/span>, continuously studying and improving my design skills.<\/p>\n Why did you choose Digital Media at SPU?<\/b><\/p>\n Compared to other universities, SPU stands out<\/b><\/span> in many aspects. The curriculum encourages creativity and hands-on learning<\/b><\/span>, offering diverse activities that help students discover and develop their full potential<\/b><\/span>. The university provides state-of-the-art technology and equipment<\/b><\/span>, and the faculty members are experienced, supportive, and approachable<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n What have you learned from Year 1 to now?<\/b><\/p>\n \u2022 <\/span>Year 1<\/b>: Focused on <\/span>traditional art skills<\/b>, such as <\/span>drawing, composition, and color theory<\/b>, laying a solid foundation for design.<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 <\/span>Year 2<\/b>: Started working with <\/span>digital tools<\/b>, learning <\/span>Typography, Packaging Design, Corporate Identity, and Print Media Design<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 <\/span>Year 3<\/b>: Delved into <\/span>advertising, marketing, and multimedia design<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n \u2022 <\/span>Year 4 (Upcoming)<\/b>: Planning to <\/span>intern with the \u201cART IN THE MALL\u201d team at The Mall Group<\/b>, where I aim to <\/span>gain real-world experience from industry professionals<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n From Thailand Design Creator 2024 to the Global Stage<\/b><\/p>\n I learned about the <\/span>Thailand Design Creator 2024<\/b> competition through my professors, who encouraged me to compete for <\/span>new experiences<\/b>. With their guidance and training, I became <\/span>one of the top 100 competitors nationwide<\/b> and ultimately won <\/span>the national championship<\/b>, earning the honor of <\/span>representing Thailand at the Adobe Certified Professional World Championship 2024 in the U.S.A.<\/b><\/p>\n Confidence as Thailand\u2019s Representative<\/b><\/p>\n I had only <\/span>a month and a half<\/b> to prepare. My strategy was to <\/span>train intensively every day<\/b>, focusing on <\/span>Illustrator and Photoshop techniques<\/b>, and practicing with <\/span>real past competition briefs<\/b>. Competing against <\/span>almost 30 countries worldwide<\/b>, I gained <\/span>new experiences, skills, friendships, and international exposure<\/b>, making this journey truly unforgettable.<\/span><\/p>\n Design Concept for the Global Competition<\/b><\/p>\n The competition challenged us to promote digital literacy in education<\/b><\/span>, with the concept \u201cClick for a Digital Future.\u201d<\/b><\/span> We had 8 hours<\/b><\/span> to create our designs based on provided elements and requirements. My work revolved around the idea of accessing education through digital skills<\/b><\/span>, showcasing how a single click can open doors to learning opportunities<\/b><\/span> in the digital era.<\/p>\n Lessons from the Competition<\/b><\/p>\n I improved my <\/span>graphic design skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities<\/b>. I also learned how to <\/span>analyze client needs, develop clear concepts, and refine my design workflow<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n Advice for Future Competitors<\/b><\/p>\n If you <\/span>aspire to represent Thailand<\/b> in next year\u2019s competition, <\/span>focus on communication<\/b> in your designs. <\/span>Clarity and purpose<\/b> are just as important as aesthetics. A great designer is <\/span>not just about making things look good<\/b>\u2014it\u2019s about <\/span>delivering the right message to the target audience<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n Future Plans After Graduation<\/b><\/p>\n I want to <\/span>contribute to the Thai gaming industry as an Art Director<\/b>. I have already started planning and forming a team with my friends to <\/span>develop Thai games for the global market<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n A Message to #Dek68 Who Are Passionate About Digital Media<\/b><\/p>\n Many people <\/span>hesitate to step out of their comfort zones<\/b>. I was one of them\u2014I started my journey in <\/span>Digital Media with no formal art background<\/b>. But with <\/span>a clear goal and determination<\/b>, you can achieve anything. <\/span>SPU has industry-expert professors<\/b> who mentor, support, and provide <\/span>hands-on opportunities<\/b>.
