The collection of #<\/span> biometric data<\/span><\/span><\/a> should take into account the people’s right to privacy of personal data under the Constitution as the main principle \u2696\ufe0f<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562
\nIt was announced in the Government Gazette on 24 May 2019. This law will come into effect after 1 year from the date of its announcement in the Government Gazette, and will have an impact on both the public sector, government agencies, and private sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n

\n

\u201cBiometric\u201d data under the Personal Data Protection Act 2019 is therefore a major challenge in the digital society era of \u201cThailand 4.0\u201d.<\/p>\n
