In a powerful fusion of education, technology, and cultural preservation, Sripatum University (SPU) has launched Silvora<\/em>, an Augmented Reality (AR) mobile game that transforms the tourism experience in Ayutthaya through gamification. Developed collaboratively by five SPU faculties\u2014including Business Administration, Information Technology, Accounting, and Law\u2014the project exemplifies the university’s commitment to interdisciplinary learning and SDG-focused impact.<\/p>\n

With its iconic \u201cPla Tapian\u201d mascot symbolizing Thai heritage, Silvora<\/em> rewards players with real-world discounts at local shops while guiding them through culturally rich locations. Beyond gameplay, the project actively trains local student guides, registers intellectual property rights, and builds lasting networks\u2014spanning over 15 partner organizations across government, civic, and private sectors.<\/p>\n
