Sripathum opens the world of learning, taking students to experience national traffic management innovations<\/p>\n\n

On July 5, 2024, Sripathum University led students from the Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Information Technology to study at the Expressway Traffic Management Center (ETM Center) of the Expressway Authority of Thailand.<\/p>\n\n

Within the center, students learn about Big Data management systems that collect over 50 million traffic data per day and process them to solve traffic problems promptly through displaying them on Variable Message Signs (VMS) and mobile applications.<\/p>\n\n

This study visit is part of the academic collaboration between Sripatum University and Expressway Authority of Thailand, focusing on linking theoretical knowledge to practical practice, giving students an opportunity to see the integration between Information Technology and Engineering.<\/p>\n\n

Hands-on experiences like these are an important step in preparing students to become quality personnel in the future, and also inspire innovations to improve the quality of life of people in society.<\/p>\n\n
