Events Executive responsibilities include but not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Managing annual events, activities, programs, meetings calendar<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Coordinate and help arrange Events\/Activities \/Meetings on a regular basis and ad hoc as needed whether in-person or virtual<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Managing website updates, Social Media posts<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Attending all meetings in preparation of events\/activities<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Be the point of contact for all liaison for hotel members when it comes to daily communications arrangements on events\/activies<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Understand requirements for each event<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Plan event with attention to financial and time constraints<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Book venues and schedule speakers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Research vendors (catering, decorators, musicians etc.) and choose the best combination of quality and cost<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations etc.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Do final checks at the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Evaluate event\u2019s success and submit reports<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Assisting and coordinating workshops and training programs for on-going training for our hotel members through partnerships or collaborations<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Attending the environment, education and marketing working group meetings and regular Association meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements and skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Proficiency in English (third languages is priority).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Excellent customer service and sales skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Strong verbal and written email communicator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Excellent phone and presentation skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and sales software programs any design program is priority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Good negotiation and problem-solving with intermediate skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Fast learner and passion for events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
