General Business

The General Business Pathway aims to develop and boost the career of the students to meet the challenges of the global work arena.
This program would empower students with the skills necessary to identify, frame, and solve business problems, build cooperation and drive fundamental change across the organization.
Students in this pathway are likely to be managers or expect to have management positions in their career so therefore this pathway would help develop students to gain up-to-date knowledge and skills to deal with dynamic changes through a combination of research and practical learning. Upon completing this course students would be better prepared to build winning strategies and strong teams, anticipate and respond proactively to competitive threats, and contribute actively to company's growth.

Accounting and Finance

Accounting & Finance is concerned with the concepts of money,
business and management. Though not Synonymous both of these terms are
usually spoken together. Accounting is concerned with information analysis
whereas Finance on the other hand is concerned solely with the monetary
funds of the business.
 
Student would gain the knowledge in the technical skills needed to read, understand and analyze financial statements in order to evaluate how business performance is affected by fundamental drivers like asset management, cost management, leverage management and tax management.
Students would also learn how accounting standards and managerial incentives affect the financial reporting process. Students would get an understanding on how to prepare cost sheets, budget and make cost-based decisions, and at the same time develop the ability to prepare and evaluate finances for the business plan and manage working capital.

Business Managment

The Business Managment Pathway aims to develop and boost the career of the students to meet the challenges of the global work arena. Entrepreneurship and Small business management

This Pathway will show you a wider perspective into entrepreneurship
and business planning. Entrepreneur is the one who as an owner of an
enterprise attempts to make profits by starting and growing a new business. 
An entrepreneur may be alone or could be a diverse group of risk-takers
who share the same goal or ideas and developing them into viable business opportunities. 
 
In recent years more and more people around the world are becoming entrepreneurs by starting new businesses and creating an initiative drive for others, especially woman to take a step forward to pull themselves out of regular work and become an owner of businesses resulting in a diverse entrepreneurial community.
 
This pathway is geared towards both the individuals planning to develop and launch their own businesses as well as those with established small business ventures that they would like to expand. Student would understand basic business skills, learn the correct manner on creating a business and marketing plan, launch a new venture, identify market opportunities and finance a business.

Human Resource Management

Human: refers to the skilled workforce in an organization.
Resource: refers to limited availability or scarce.
Management: refers how to optimize and make best use of such limited
or scarce resource so as to meet the organization goals and objectives.
 
Therefore, human resource management is meant for proper utilization
of available skilled workforce and also to make efficient use of existing
human resource in the organization. This pathway would extract the essence of Human Resources Management. Human resource Manager who is in charge of dealing with all issues related to the people within the organization which includes recruiting and hiring people, inducting employees, providing orientation, training and development, appraising the performance of employees, deciding compensation and providing benefits, motivating employees and last but not least maintaining proper relations with employees. The HR Manager also have to develop wellness initiatives, provide guidance regarding disciplinary actions, promote career development & training programs to strengthen relationships among employees and employee’s satisfaction.

Marketing

as known traditionally is a way by which an organization communicates to connects and engages with its target audienceto convey the value of its products and services and ultimately sell them.
But this is 21st century and marketers don’t look at the market in a classical manner any more. This is an era of digital marketing, with the emergence of digital media, it has increasingly become more about companies building deeper, more meaningful and lasting relationships with their consumers. The ever-increasingly fragmented world of media challenge marketer’s ability to connect with their final consumers and, at the same, time presents incredible opportunity to enter new territory.
