Sripatum University – Chonburi Campus organized a special event in celebration of 30th Anniversary on 19 July 2017. Since Sripatum University expanded the education opportunity to the eastern region in 1987, the university received Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn’s divine grace to preside over the opening ceremony of Sripatum University-Chonburi Campus on July 19, 1987. SPU Chonburi campus is located at a strategic point in the eastern region. Chonburi is home to Thailand’s largest tourist oriented city – Pattaya, and home to Thailand’s largest and primary seaport, with the industrial zone for the transportation, logistics and tourism industry. In celebration of Sripatum University – Chonburi campus’s 30 year establishment, the opening ceremony was chaired by Chonburi Governor – Mr. Pakarathorn Tianchai, and some activities were specially organized such as; the seminar entitled “Opportunities, Challenges, and Adaptation of Industrial Sector, and the Investment in Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC)” by Mr. Somchai Harnhirun – Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Industry, and Ms. Ajarin Pattanapanchai – Deputy Secretary General of Thailand Board of Investment.
