SPU Music of Healing: Students Deliver Hope through the Power of Piano at Ramathibodi Hospital<\/mark><\/strong>
<\/mark>SPU students transform compassion into melodies, creating a space of comfort and healing for patients and healthcare heroes alike.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With soft piano notes echoing through the hospital corridors, the Center for Arts and Culture at Sripatum University (SPU) orchestrated a heartfelt initiative titled \u201cSPU Music of Healing\u201d<\/em> on May 29, 2025, at Building 1, Ramathibodi Hospital. The project brought together SPU volunteer students to perform live piano music, delivering emotional support and moments of peace to patients, families, and medical personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The performers \u2014 Mr. Boontawee Suphab (2nd-year Business Administration) and Mr. Yuttathit Suwinaiwongsa (3rd-year Liberal Arts) \u2014 were not merely musicians but ambassadors of hope. Their music symbolized the transformative power of volunteerism, echoing SPU\u2019s deep commitment to University Social Responsibility (USR). By extending their talents beyond the campus, they embody the university\u2019s goal of developing responsible, creative, and socially engaged graduates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This initiative directly supports SDG 3.3.2<\/strong>, enhancing well-being through community health outreach, and SDG 11.2.5<\/strong>, as it represents a cultural contribution in a public space. It also reinforces SDG 4.3.4<\/strong>, offering off-campus learning experiences, and SDG 17.2.5<\/strong>, exemplifying a cross-sectoral collaboration that advances the UN\u2019s Sustainable Development Goals. Importantly, the event highlights SPU\u2019s strategic mission toward SDG 17.4.1<\/strong>, integrating sustainability values through co-curricular service learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By creating inclusive spaces for all students \u2014 including first-generation learners (SDG 4.4.1<\/strong> and SDG 10.2.1<\/strong>) \u2014 and recognizing the psychological benefits for both performers and listeners (SDG 3.3.5<\/strong>), \u201cSPU Music of Healing\u201d becomes more than an event.
